Join our West Sound Chapter at Port Gamble for Trail School—a hands-on day focused on building smarter, more sustainable trails. You will learn how water, soil, and design shape the trail experience, and what it takes to maintain trails that hold up over time.

This is not just for mountain bikers—Trail School is for anyone who cares about these trails and wants to give back. Expect a mix of learning and real trail work, with plenty of chances to build skills you can use on future dig days, or any time you're out riding.

If you have ever wanted to understand the “why” behind trail work, this is where it starts.

Pizza will be provided by Evergreen for lunch!

Schedule:
9am - sign in, introductions, plan for the day
9:30am - Begin classroom slideshow presentation
11:30 - Lunch
12:30 - talk safety and work plan
1:00 - trail walk and talk and begin work
3:00-4:00 - Gather up tools and hike out (Time depending on work and weather)
