- **Event Description**: As we prepare for Mandela Day on 18 July 2026, 9am till 14pm  Buffelsfontein Village, in collaboration with @The Magic Circle Crochet Club and our community partners, is working towards several meaningful goals that will make a lasting difference in the lives of elderly residents, babies, families, and companion animals.

We invite our community to join us in achieving the following impact goals:

67 Baby Blankets
(1,670 granny squares measuring 20cm x 20cm)

You are warmly invited to join us every Monday at 10:00 at Buffelsfontein Village to learn crocheting or knitting from our residents and contribute to this special project.

670 Newborn and Adult Nappies
Donations of nappy packs are greatly appreciated.

670 Meals
A donation of R40 will sponsor a nutritious meal for an elderly resident.

670 Tins of Non-Perishable Food
These donations will help support elderly residents through essential food parcels.

67 Winter Comfort Boxes
Each box can include coffee, tea, hot chocolate, sugar, milk, and other comforting essentials.

67 Dog & Cat Care Items
Pet food, winter jerseys, blankets, and other care items are welcomed to support companion animals.

This Mandela Day project reflects the spirit of giving, dignity, compassion, and community care. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us make a meaningful difference.
