The Winter Solstice Run is all about raising community spirit: the spirits of the participants & the spirits of those in need in our local community.
We all know that this has been an especially tough few years and unfortunately, the number of those in need has continued to grow.
To participate, Winter Solstice Run participants are asked to make a donation to SHARE (online using the link below or in person the morning of the event) and/or to make a donation to the 'Shoe Gift Boxes' being assembled for the folks at the shelter at 3030 Gordon.
Here is how you can enter the fun:

1) REGISTER

2) DONATE to:

b) 3030 Gordon: Shoe Gift Box for 72 folks
Items needed :
-gently used running shoes
-cozy slipper socks (sherpa lined for inside)
-headlamps (w/ batteries)
-disposable razors
-$5 Gift Card to Tim Hortons
*CONTACTLESS DROP OFF of these items can be done at:
13 Timbercrest Drive, Port Moody
-There will be a large bin on the front porch for donations.
Special Notes for WSR day:
-Dress in your festive best!
-This is a kiddo and dog friendly event
-Take fun photos along the way, share them to the Winter Solstice Run FB page and tag them #WSR2025
-Look for festive km markers along the route
