Be sure that you get a beach parking sticker on your vehicle before you drive on the beach. You can get one for $10 at Island Liquor, or at The Big Store in Crystal Beach. Driving Directions: The Washout is located between barrel markers 68 & 69, right on the beach! If you are coming down HWY 87 (from either direction) you will want to turn at S. Monkhouse Drive, head down to the beach, and turn right at the beach. The Washout is approximately 1/4 mile down the beach from S. Monkhouse Road. (NOTE: for GPS location to S. Monkhouse Road, we suggest you put in the Nauti Beaver Hut as a marker. S.
