The brand-new documentary Gulf Great White Sharks: Return of an Icon is making its official debut at the Museum of the Gulf Coast in Port Arthur, and you're invited to be part of this special event! In addition to the screening, there will be fun activities for the whole family!
Produced by award-winning wildlife journalist & conservationist Chester Moore and filmed by acclaimed cinematographer Paul Fuzinski, the film explores the mysterious and powerful return of great white sharks to the Gulf of Mexico, including Texas waters—an exciting, mysterious story brought vividly to life.

This unique event includes both a public screening of the documentary and a special shark seminar where guests will get behind-the-scenes insights and expert discussion on shark conservation, Gulf wildlife, and the making of the film. Plus, there will be door prizes and giveaways.
The date also marks a legendary moment in pop culture—exactly 50 years to the weekend since “Jaws” hit theaters, officials introducing the great white shark to the world. Now, this premiere brings the story home, shining a light on the real great whites of the Gulf Coast.
