About Mary Marcial:
Mary Marcial was the owner and founder of the Port Angeles Dance Center - a hub for dance in Port Angeles for over 20 years. She first began teaching in the basement of the Elks Lodge, then expanded to two other locations as the studio grew. She taught thousands of students in Ballet, Jazz, and Modern dance. Her approach to teaching was centered on building community and an everlasting love for movement and art. Mary passed away on June 7, 2024 after a long battle with Alzheimer’s.
