Old Time Jam

The West Baton Rouge Museum will host its monthly Old Time Jam on November 9, 2025, from 3-5 PM and will coincide with the West Baton Rouge Veterans Celebration.
On Sunday, November 9, 2025 from 11 AM – 5 PM, all are invited to a celebration honoring all veterans from the grounds of the West Baton Rouge Museum located at 845 North Jefferson Avenue in Port Allen.
Festivities include live music, food and craft vendors, a military vehicle and an antique car show, tours of an exhibit commemorating the end of the Vietnam War inside the museum, and a performance by the National WWII Museum’s Victory Belles at 1:30 PM where all branches of the military will be saluted. The day will conclude with the museum’s monthly Old Time Jam!
As part of its cultural offerings, West Baton Rouge Museum is hosting this program led by local musician, Kent Louque to allow musicians to informally play acoustic instruments including fiddle, mandolin, banjo, guitar, double bass, and dulcimer. No amps, please. This program is FREE and open to the public.
