Wanting to incorporate mushrooms into your wellness routine but not sure where to start? Jordan Gros will guide us through the benefits of common Functional Mushrooms and how adding them into your life can help you Cultivate Optimal Health. Through research-based science and personal insights, we will learn about the properties of our powerful fungi allies, many of which exist right in our own backyards! You will be left with more confidence about how each mushroom can help support you and your loved ones. Audience members will learn about benefits from better sleep and more energy, to a clear mind and immune support. 
Jordan Gros, founder of Mycocentrics, is a Biological Engineer with years of experience working with mushrooms in various ways. Mycocentrics is a Louisiana-based functional mushroom company, providing products and education to help drive healthy planetary, community, and individual evolution.
This program is being offered in conjunction with the current exhibit, Finding Alice: Artists Exploring Wonderland featuring Abelardo Morell on view through May 24, 2026. This exhibition is toured by Exhibits USA, the national touring exhibition program of Mid-America Arts Alliance.  Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, first published in 1865, the exhibition explores the enduring influence of the classic story on artists across generations through photography, illustration, and book art.
This FREE event is open to the public. Anyone attending is welcome to bring a brown bag lunch or visit local eateries in the area before or after the presentation.
