Since 1989

Bandet spiller klassisk soul slik den ble spilt på 1960-tallet, og sper på det musikalske
uttrykket med innslag av heftig funk i ånden til bl.a. James Brown, The Tower of Power og
dens like. Flere egne funky låter er også på repertoiret!
Med Kim Rune Hagen som vokalist har konsertene blitt den rene eksplosjonen i soul, blues
og funk, og i formidling av denne type musikk er Kim Rune kanskje det råeste vi har av
vokalister i Norge akkurat nå.
Ellers består bandet av bl.a en heftig blåserekke med «the real sound» og gitarist Tommy
Larsen som sammen med et fjellstøtt komp sørger for å holde musikken solid forankret i den
tradisjonen.
Bandet spilte inn albumet «Groove your hips» i -21, og har spilt flere ganger på festivaler
som Trandal bluesfestival, Nidaros blues, Notodden bluesfestival, Skånevik bluesfestival,
Nevlunghavn Live, Sildajazz og Rørafestivalen for å nevne noen, i tillegg til klubbjobber og
events.
