The Big Rip er et heavy- stoner band fra industribyen Porsgrunn. Fra bandbrudd og pandemi oppstod The Big Rip.  Inspirert av klassiske stonerrockbandene der ute, henter bandet også inspirasjon fra skandinavisk folkemusikk og amerikansk blues, noe som gir dem en unik organisk sound. 

The Big Rip har spilt i store deler av Norge, og gjort support for legender som El Caco og Thulsa Doom. Bandet debuterte utenfor kongeriket, hvor de spilte på Truckfighters Fuzz Festival 2025 i Stockholm, og spiller i år på Desertfest Oslo. 

Utgivelsen Olympus Mons har høstet gode reviews, og bandet er kjent for energiske live-show med en vegg av lyd.

ASTRALPLANE
Brødrene i Astralplane symboliserer sammen tre av de grunnleggende elementene innen tungrocken. Fuzz, Psych og Doom! Sammen blander de tunge riff fra 70-tallet med psykedelisk stoner rock fra 90- og 00-tallet, og de vil ta publikum med på en psykedelisk reise til ukjente destinasjoner og soniske landskap.
