- **Event Description**: Hi everyone - welcome to the WSKN Christmas SKISL / Paddle to Mana!

On Saturday 13th December we will have a Christmas event on Mana Island, departing Titahi Bay at 10am (so arriving at 9:30)  getting to Mana around 10:40, keen ones can do stuff prior to lunch around 12:00, then there might be groups that head back at different time slots, but we can work that out on the day.   Return could therefore either be 1:30 or 2:30 with the latest return to Titahi Bay being 3pm.

We've made this event later than the normal SKISL so that it's easier for folks to drive down from Palmerston North, and also because it is a lunch event.

The lawn on Mana is really nice, sheltered and pleasant and there are also good walks.  Mana is of course a sanctuary so you must check your boats for any wildlife especially ants that may have gotten in past the hatches.  Also we cannot have any fires 

Plan B:  If weather nukes Mana, we'll try for Green Point or  Onehunga Bay in Whitireia Park by driving there.
