What you’ll learn:

· Why pruning is important for plant health, shape and productivity
· When, where and how to prune common garden plants
· How to prune and train roses, hedges, fruiting plants and other ornamentals
· Practical techniques for shaping plants and encouraging healthy growth
· How to use pruning tools safely and correctly
· Simple plant-care tips, including fertilising and pest and disease control

About Jon Muller:
Jon Muller is a highly experienced Wellington-based horticulturist who has lived in the region for over 50 years. He holds a Dip. Hort. and NDH Hons, and has worked across the industry as a nurseryman, landscape consultant and lecturer. Jon has also appeared on radio and TV, lectured at Victoria University School of Design and various polytechnics, and written six gardening books.
