- **Event Description**: Come and help plant this the last area to link the Onehunga valley with Onepoto stream catchment.  Continuous corridors create habitat for mātātā/fernbird and other native birds and lizards. Within a couple of years of planting we are finding new pairs of mātātā in them. This is a sheltered site but still bring 3 to 4 clothing layers. The site is an 8 minute walk from Onehunga Bay carpark. 
We will have spades, but bring a spade if you have one.
Hot drinks and hot food provided.
We will post by 8am if postponed due to rain.
