Discover the extraordinary history and work of the League through a weekend of kōrero, waiata, and raranga.

Since 1951, the Maori Women’s Welfare League has supported the wellbeing of wāhine Māoriand their whānau. Working with wāhine – tatau tatau – to improve housing, education, health, and employment for Māori.

With over 130 peka and 3,000 members across Aotearoa and in Australia, you’ll find hard-working volunteers in every community.

Celebrate Te Ropu Wahine Maori Toko i te Ora and learn about this important mahi from League representatives from different rohe, as well as join in waiata and live raranga demonstrations.
