Mini Folk Marathon returns for the third time – four days of music, dance, workshops and shared creation in the spirit of tradition, learning and togetherness.
Join us and be part of this unique gathering!

Mini Folk Marathon Pazin is inspired by the big Folk Marathon organized each year in different countries (https://folkmarathonsofia.com/ ). After the previous editions in 2017 and 2018, the event once again gathers the community of musicians and dancers in the heart of Istria.
It is organised by the TradInEtno Association, dedicated to promoting traditional and world music in an ecological spirit.

From 4th to 6th January 2026, our small Istrian town will turn into a lively stage of encounters and collective creation. During four days we explore, learn and create together through workshops, dance, singing, improvisation and spontaneous music-making. Through sharing and connection, we celebrate the beginning of the year with music, movement and joy.

? Who is it for?
Mini Folk Marathon is open to registered participants – musicians, dancers and enthusiasts who wish to learn from each other, teach, share and create together.
Everyone is welcome to propose or lead a workshop – your favourite dance, song, tune or musical technique.
Some workshops and evening events will be open to the public – come to listen, dance or join the sessions!
