Join us for Manufacturing Day 2026 — a unique opportunity for local high school students to explore the exciting world of modern manufacturing right here in Poplar Bluff!
Throughout the day, students will tour leading facilities including Briggs & Stratton, Mid Continent Steel & Wire, Gates Corporation, Rheem, and Empire Comfort Systems/Primo Ceramic Grills. Each stop offers an inside look at how products are made, the technology and teamwork behind every process, and the wide range of career paths available in manufacturing.
During the tours, students will:
- See real-world production in action
- Meet skilled employees and learn how they built their careers
- Participate in possible demonstrations or hands-on experiences
- Discover how manufacturing impacts our local economy and global progress
Lunch will be provided for all participating students.
