Students should arrive ON TIME for set up and briefing

PLEASE NOTE:

This class is LE or Civilian Instructors attached to firearms training units as instructors ONLY. This is not open to the general public.

Body Armor is required.


Due to the rules and regulations of tis range SigSauer P320 pistols of any variety are not permitted in the class.


This course is designed to introduce the intermediate shooter to carbine/rifle and pistol work combined.
This is an intensive two day program for intermediate shooters with training experience.
All students must understand and be able to successfully maintain all shooting safety fundamentals and procedures.


PREREQUISITE:
All students must understand and be able to successfully maintain all shooting safety fundamentals. Students should be familiar with the working operations of their carbine/rifle and pistol: load, unload, clear malfunctions.


CLASS STARTS ON TIME, PLEASE BE THERE NO LATER THAN 30 MINUTES PRIOR FOR SET UP AND SAFETY BRIEFING.


COURSE BREAKDOWN:

– Range orientation

– Firearms safety

– Warm-up drills

– Ready positions

– Accuracy drills

– Engaging multiple targets

– Close quarters engagements

– Reloading techniques and malfunction clearance drills

– Search & scan / situational awareness

– Cover & concealment

– Various shooting positions

– Moving and shooting


EQUIPMENT LIST:

-Quality functional long gun/carbine (AR-15 / M4 style) WITH TWO POINT SLING.

– Minimum of 1,000 rounds of rifle ammunition

– Minimum 4 magazines minimum for your carbine or rifle.

-– Semi-automatic pistol or revolver of their choice. (a backup or secondary pistol is recommended) – Please note: NO SigSauer P320 of any variety is permitted on this range.

– Minimum 4 magazines minimum for your pistol.

– Minimum of 600 rounds of pistol ammunition.

– Sturdy belt with quality holster. Please no flimsy, dangling, nylon, leather, or cloth holsters. No Blackhawk Serpa, Alien Gear, Uncle Mike’s, Blade Tech, Crossbreed or Fobus please! Kydex preferred.
We recommend holsters from: Safariland, Dark Star Gear, Tenicor, Raven Concealment, Blackpoint Tactical, Concealment Express, G-Code, or Black Center Tactical.

-Magazine or loading device pouches / magazine carrier, etc.

– Chest rig, plate carrier, etc. PLEASE NOTE: Body Armor is required.

-Ammunition dump pouch (optional)

-Sturdy belt at least 1.5” wide

-Footwear suitable for rapid movement and turning with good ankle support.

-Clothing suitable for training in any weather – long pants – long sleeve shirt, hoodie or jacket for cold weather.

-Wraparound eyewear, polycarbonate lenses or non-shattering prescription glasses

-Earmuffs and earplugs

-Knee pads and elbow pads (optional but recommended)

-notepad and pen for taking notes

-A humble, willing to learn attitude
