Saturday Moth Morning

Start your day by discovering the hidden night‑time world of moths as we open the moth trap that has been set up overnight.

This is a fantastic chance to learn about these beautiful and often overlooked insects and see them up close.

Our rangers will guide you through the trap, share facts and identifying features, and record the species we find as part of their ongoing monitoring programmes.

*Please be aware that the moth trap is weather dependent, so the number of moths we find can vary depending on weather conditions.

Location: We will be set up within Canford Heath Nature Reserve, just past the steeple crossroads under the cover of the trees (Exact location: W3W:///palms.lamps.drill)
