Candles by The Sea

Join us at St Mary’s Church where you and your family can write a personal dedication on your candle(s), before it is placed in the display. Enjoy live performances from St Mary’s Church Choir and Swanage Town Band.

We hope to see you on Saturday 15th November from 5:30pm for an evening of light, love, and remembrance.

Light refreshments will also be available to purchase, making this a welcoming event for all to enjoy together.

Environmental statement: All candles will be placed safely in the display . All candles/lanterns (which are imitation flames) will be collected at the end of the evening by our dedicated team of staff and volunteers to ensure there is no litter. The Candles will also be reused for subsequent years.

Please note: Filming & photography will be taking place during the evening. Don't forget to tag us in your photos on the night!
