- **Event Description**: Tir Pontypridd will be announcing the opening of their public membership scheme at Great Big Green Week Pontypridd on Saturday 13th June at Storyville Books. 

Any person can become a member of Tir Pontypridd by purchasing a £1 share. We also ask people to pay monthly / annual subscriptions, which can be waived for volunteers. 

Tir Pontypridd is setting out to secure land in and around Pontypridd for the benefit of our communities, nature and biodiversity. 

Through the community ownership of land, we aim to be the first town in Wales that owns the means to determine our own future.  
To celebrate we have invited independent clothing brand ‘Over Seas Apparel’ to run a Community Screen Printing Workshop. 

People can bring their favourite item of sustainably sourced clothing to be printed with the Tir Pontypridd logo.

Note: Sustainably sourced t-shirts will be available to buy & print on the day for £8. There will also be a very limited selection of handmade tote bags on the day too.  

We will have a range of house, garden plants, herbs, fruit bushes and locally sourced trees available on our stall for donations.
