Mark, a skilled musician and songwriter best known for the 12-string guitar instrumental "Blue House," which went viral on YouTube, with over half a million views, resulting in its purchase by Mexico Wagyu beef for their American promotional video, wanted to create a unique live acoustic performance using the beautiful sound of ukuleles. After just a few performances, they were approached and managed by Smiley Miley, the famous Radio One DJ. The Award-Winning husband and wife duo now perform their own original material, plus an acoustic Irish Celtic/ country twist on some very popular covers. Twice winners of best duo by Wales Clubland Interfederation, their powerful/vocal harmonies blend with bass, baritone, and tenor ukes combined with a custom-made acoustic foot drum to create the original, unique, and powerful sound that is CALON.
