01/17: Mooz-lum: Starring Evan Ross, Nia Long, Danny Glover, and Summer Bishil, this movie follows Tariq Mahdi (Ross) as he comes to terms with his strict upbringing, childhood trauma, and navigating college as a young Muslim-American in the wake of the September 11th attacks. Will include light refreshments!
02/28: John Lewis: Good Trouble: Congressman, civil rights activist, icon. The late Rep. John Lewis participated in some of the most iconic events of the American Civil Rights Movement. Always one willing to get into good trouble, this documentary tells the story of his continued commitment to fighting for the rights of his constituents. Will include light refreshments! Register !
