There will be an option for the more energetic to walk a further 1.5 miles back over Earl’s Hill and examine the PreCambrian volcanic rocks that make up its core. From the top of the hill there will be an opportunity to appreciate Habberley Brook as an ice cut channel and see the former route of the stream to the north east.
