# Event Details - **Event Name**: Auricular Acupuncture for Therapists - **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 24 Oct, 2026 at 09:15 am – Sat, 24 Oct, 2026 at 04:30 pm (+01:00) - **Event Description**: A practical, nervous-system–led approach for therapists. At its heart, auricular acupuncture is about restoring balance to the nervous system. By stimulating key points on the ear, we directly engage the parasympathetic nervous system, activating vagal tone and influencing multiple cranial nerves. This allows us to bypass the peripheral nervous system and communicate more directly with the brain — effectively dialing down overactivity and helping the body regain control. This makes auricular acupuncture an exceptionally versatile and powerful tool for any condition driven by sympathetic overdrive, including: • Anxiety, stress, and insomnia • Digestive disorders — both functional and stress-related (including reflux) • Pain presentations, particularly those influenced by the nervous system • Headaches and migraine, especially neck-driven patterns • Spinal and musculoskeletal pain • Hormonal imbalance and nervous system dysregulation For hypnotherapists, auricular acupuncture beautifully complements subconscious and emotional work by settling the body first. For physiotherapists, it offers a direct way to influence pain, muscle tone, and recovery through nervous system regulation. ________________________________________ The Training This is a one-day, highly practical course (7 hours CPD) in Ear (Auricular) Acupuncture. It is a stand-alone training — no prior acupuncture experience required — designed to immediately extend your clinical toolbox. You’ll learn how this microsystem can be: • Used as a complete treatment modality in its own right • Applied alongside your existing work • Utilised as a diagnostic aid when a clinical picture is unclear There will be a focused exploration of: • Headache and migraine • Spinal problems (with referral considerations) • Stress and hormonal imbalance, including the NADA protocol • Pain management strategies • Digestive imbalance • Plus space to explore conditions you bring to the table A small amount of pre-reading will be sent out a couple of weeks prior to the course to support learning on the day. CPD: 7 hours Maximum delegates: 12 (to ensure hands-on learning) Cost: £170 Message me if interested 07716 219091 - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/pontefract/auricular-acupuncture-for-therapists/200030467168625 - **Event Categories**: workshops - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 13 ## Ticket Details ## Event venue details - **city**: Pontefract - **state**: EN - **country**: United Kingdom - **location**: Bell Lane Physiotherapy and Sports Therapy Clinic - **lat**: 53.6409904 - **long**: -1.3469671 - **full address**: Bell Lane Physiotherapy and Sports Therapy Clinic, 42 Wakefield Road, Ackworth,Pontefract, United Kingdom ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Auricular Acupuncture for Therapists - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events1/banners/33da52820d7f161972db542f380c7d19cb776145afb36671f9fb48f4c7b3aaa5-rimg-w1200-h1200-dcf8e8e8-gmir?v=1788258013 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Auricular Acupuncture for Therapists being held? - **A:** Auricular Acupuncture for Therapists takes place on Sat, 24 Oct, 2026 at 09:15 am to Sat, 24 Oct, 2026 at 04:30 pm at Bell Lane Physiotherapy and Sports Therapy Clinic, 42 Wakefield Road, Ackworth,Pontefract, United Kingdom. - **Q**: Who is organizing Auricular Acupuncture for Therapists? - **A:** Auricular Acupuncture for Therapists is organized by Soul Journeys Academy of Hypnotherapy and Shamanic Practice. - **Q**: Who is this event for?
