Winterfest at Ponca State Park

Join us at Ponca State Park for our annual Winterfest!
We’ll kick off day with our Naturalist activities. At high noon, guests can participate in the Fruitcake Fling, where guest throw wildlife-friendly fruitcakes competing for distance. Prizes will be awarded for the longest throws in four age categories.
The day with conclude with lighted hayrack rides beginning at 4:40 p.m. Hot cocoa and cookies will be served at the Resource and Education Center. Guests can sign up for hayrack rides while at the park. The pickup and drop off location is the Park Office/Resource and Education Center. Rides are free and take approximately 20 minutes.
All activities are free during this outdoor family tradition. A valid state park vehicle permit is required for entry.
