Silvan Zingg is internationally renowned Boogie Woogie, Blues & Jazz pianist from Lugano, Switzerland. Silvan was influenced at an early age by American style Blues, Jazz & Boogie music & the the musicians who introduced it like Clarence Smith( 1927 the first recorded boogie woogie) Pete Johnson, Oscar Peterson, Duke Ellington , George Gershwin & many other Jazz era greats!
Silvans piano career began at age 18 when he was invited to the Masters of the Boogie Woogie Night in Charleston, S.Carolina . He quickly became one of the most popular & sought after performers across the globe! His repertoire is extensive & his travels has taken him to 50+ countries performing with legendary musicians B.B. King, Carlos Santana, .Chuck Berry, George Benson, Quincy Jones & a host of others. Silvan also presents his lectures to students at universities & schools on the Roots of Blues Music . His high-energy concerts appeals to all ages. You will hear songs from every era & every style. From Classic to Country, Ragtime to Rock he has it covered ! You dont want to miss this show. We have VIP tickets for $35 which includes a pre-concert pass at 6pm. For a Meet/greet/autographs . General admission is $25. Concert begins at 7pm. During Intermission we will have a special unveiling of the Silent Film Stars Series original paintings by Susan Jones. Some of the star portrait paintings will include Clara Bow ( the "it" girl of her day), Maude Fealy , Laurel & Hardy, Charlie Chaplin, Tom Mix , Will Rogers & several others as part of this " first veiwing " presentation . They will also be up for purchase .
