Most of us don't even look up from our phones.

There are videos questioning the future of humanity as we stare at our screens and not each other.

This event challenges what has become our societal norm.... Non Connection.

Your event facilitator has a 11 year history teaching Yoga, Kundalini, and Tantra. She is a Reiki Master and bodyworker who holds many advanced certifications in hands-on natural healing techniques. Expect to feel cared for, respected, and accepted exactly as you are dear ones. After over a decade of working with and on the human body through touch, she has witnessed one thing time and again: Oxytocin heals stress & disease.

It also leads to secure love.

Something is missing from our society today.

Endless swiping left and right.

This event is mostly platonic. What that means stated cleanly is that during our community connection time we will invite you to talk to each other, sit close together, hold hands, and if you feel very safe— share a hug, cuddle or snuggle. If seggsy feelings do come up, thats your cue to exchange numbers.

Why platonic snuggles?

Have you heard of Frederick II? He conducted human experiments with babies. They were cared for but not spoken to, and not held or touched beyond basic needs. His experiment had a sad outcome.

Many of us are truly alone.

What we are really seeking is basic human connection.

Oxytocin is the hormone your body releases in response to love, connection and safety. It combats the effects of the hormone of illness and dis-ease, cortisol. Oxytocin helps your body function optimally.

In his national bestseller, Love and Survival, Ornish presents study after study demonstrating that love is a chief influence for mental, emotional, and even physical health. On page 29 he summarises the unexpected message of the rapidly accumulating body of data: “Anything that promotes feelings of love and intimacy is healing; anything that promotes isolation, separation, loneliness, loss, hostility, anger, cynicism, depression, alienation, and related feelings often leads to suffering, disease, and premature death from all causes”. Have you ever been yelled at by someone and really just wanted a hug, but there wasn't anyone you trusted close by?

How long did it take your body to calm down?

That was a mix of hormones, and one baddie in particular: Cortisol.

The antedote is oxytocin.

Something that is a basic human need.
