CARE (Community Awareness, Reduction & Education) is an educational series designed to raise awareness about substance use disorders and their effects on the community. These workshops cover a range of topics, including an overview of various substances, substance use, and prevention strategies, emphasizing the importance of proactive intervention. Additionally, the series explores harm reduction strategies tailored to substance use disorders, offering practical approaches to minimize associated risks. CARE also includes a dedicated monthly session on safe binding and tucking practices, providing guidance on proper techniques, use of tape, and self-care to ensure safety and well-being.
