KEN’S SPEEDWAGON CLASSIC

Course:  ~50 miles - mixed pavement and dirt

Help with vehicles for rider transport back from finish always appreciated.

Schedule:
10:30 – 11:30 am, check-in at the Glacier Brewing (6 Tenth Ave E, extra parking nearby)
11:45 am, final staging and instructions (Glacier Brewing)
2:30 pm, first finishers at the top of R.E.O. climb (near Big Arm, MT)
4:30 pm, gather at Polson’s Glacier Brewing for beer, food and celebration

Event Highlights:
•	Spectacular course with undiscovered roads and breathtaking vistas
•	A nice mix of pavement and smooth dirt with a few ugly gravel sections
•	Unforgettable challenges including the R.E.O. finish climb
•	Fun mix of serious riders and recreational adventurers – mass start
•	Casual atmosphere with big post-race celebration, good food and prizes
•	Volunteer support and vehicle transport from finish back to start

Special Note: In honor of local mountain man legend Ken Cornelius who died after a tragic accident during the Speedwagon in 2022, we will again start out slow this year, stopping at the top of the Skyline climb on the way out of town for a moment of silence in the shadow of the majestic Mission Mountains. Then some folks might choose to complete the route at a more casual, group-oriented tempo while others opt to press the pace on the more challenging segments. This way, all participants can take full advantage of a great workout and memorable course.
