$5-15 parking in a lot outside of the park or on the road. The directions on AllTrails will take you to the parking lot. Bring cash. No place to get change. If you park inside of Sly Park you may pay more.

6-7 miles ...hiking half of the lake.

Rated: Moderate ...there are hills.

Hiking Time: pace of 20-30 minutes per mile. Allow 3.5-4 hours for hike. 

Hiking Essentials:
Mask
Dress in moisture wicking clothes. Do not wear cotton clothing.
Bring a snack , 2 liters of water, sun protection, a first aid kit.
Trail shoes/hiking boots or sturdy shoes
Hat and gloves
Dress in layers.
It's going to be warm....dress accordingly.
Feel free to bring your bathing suit
