Learn about why spiders are such an important part of nature and the history of Lake Tawakoni State Park!

Join a Ranger to explore the spiders that call Lake Tawakoni State Park home. How do they spin webs? What is the difference between venom and poison? How dangerous are they? Learn the answers to these questions and more!

When: August 16th 2pm-3pm
Meet: By the trailhead for Farkleberry Trail
Bring: Sunscreen, insect repellant, water
Cost: Free with park admission ($5.00 per person 13 and over)
