Welcome! the 3rd annual Point Roberts Pickleball Tournament will take place Saturday-Sunday August 23-24, 9:00am-1:00pm at the Point Roberts Community Centre.
Saturday August 23: 2.5-3.25 round robin followed by single eliminations for first, second and third place. This day will likely wrap up closer to 12:00pm.
Sunday August 24: 3.5+ round robin followed by single eliminations for first, second and third place. Once complete, we will have an awards ceremony for the first, second and third place from both days and a celebration BBQ.
Players sign up individually in either the 2.5-3.25 and up category or the 3.5+ category. The organizers will then pair individuals based on their DUPR or self-assessed rating. There is space for 16 players in each category, a total of 32 players.
This is a not-for-profit event run by community volunteers. Your US$25/CA$30 registration fee includes a 2024 Point Roberts Pickleball Tournament T-Shirt. There will be medals for first, second and third place as well as draw prizes.
Rules
1. This is a community building event rooted in good sportsmanship.
2. This tournament is for ages 18+

4. Please do not put yourself in a level that is not accurate.
5. All players must have experience playing pickleball and a good understanding of the rules.
6. Format is round robin followed by single elimination. Games may be limited to 15 minutes due to only having 2 courts.
7. All players must sign a release of liability as well as a photo release.
8. Organizers have the right to reorganize groups based on levels registered.
