May 26th- 5th Annual - Memorial Day Hike
Join us on Memorial Day - May 26th at the beautiful Point Reyes National Sea Shore!
This is our 5th annual Memorial Day hike! We will keep our ancient practices of a long hangout on the beach, with games, ocean and food! We encourage your to bring your own games and food especially!
No mass this time-but if you know someone who can say it, let me know!
Our hike on the Laguna-Coast Loop is an easy walk out to the beach but you get to choose one of two ways to come back: Trail Details Here:

Please Note: We are doing the reverse of this trail linked and starting at the Coastal Trail . We start the trail as a group and then everyone tends to come and go as they please after the hang out on the beach. For those who come late you can't miss us, we will be the huge group of young adults on the beach.
The two ways to return:
1. Return on the same path for the easier route back to the start of the trail or
2. Continue the loop which becomes a moderate/ hard loop to the parking lot. Doing the full loop is about (5.5 miles).
We always try to find a place to eat together after for anyone who would like to join :) We will start the Coastal Trail at 11:00am promptly - so meet at trailhead before 11am.
Here's the skedge:
11:00am Sharp- Hit the Trail! Two easy miles to arrive at the Beach & hang out for while: frisbee, football, swimming, games, lunch (pack your own) & fun.
3pm - tentative departure from the beach.
4pm - return to cars from easy way.
5pm - return to cars from harder way.

7:30am-Sacramento at St. Mary's (1333 58th St, Sacramento, CA 95819) for a 7:45am departure for Coastal Trailhead - Giovanna
Driving directions–put in the address for HI Point Reyes Hostel, parking is right before you enter the Hostel or right after the hostel in the Laguna trail parking lot (see picture below). Either way, park outside the hostel and meet at the coastal trailhead before 11 am.
