Grammy Nominated All-star Band Professor Louie & The Crowmatix began as the studio-backing band for Aaron Professor Louie’s musical productions for The Band. Rick Danko, bass player and singer of The Band christened him -Professor Louie - due to his work with The Band and it’s individual members. Professor Louie has emerged in the music industry as the torchbearer of the true spirit of American Roots Music. Collaborating with The Band for over fifteen years – Co-producing the Band’s last three CD’s in the 90’s.
