On January 20th, Carly went to the emergency department expecting symptoms of vertigo. After several tests, doctors discovered a 5 cm brain tumor that required immediate and extensive surgery. While the surgery was necessary and successful, Carly is now in recovery and faces a long and challenging rehabilitation process. As a result, she will be unable to work for an estimated 3–6 months.
This sudden medical emergency has placed a significant financial strain on Carly as a sole provider for her daughter Scarlett. At this time her focus needs to be healing and recovery. To help ease this burden, friends and family are coming together to host a benefit in her honour.
The goal of this event is to help cover essential expenses, allowing Carly to focus on her recovery without the
added stress of financial.
A luncheon will include a raffle featuring a variety of prizes. We are welcoming donations from local businesses and community members who would like to contribute items, services, or gift certificates for the raffle. All donations will help support Carly during her recovery, and we are deeply thankful for the continued generosity of our local community.
