Martin Luther King Jr Brunch 2026

The Pocatello Branch of the NAACP would like to invite you to join us for our annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Saturday, January 17th, 2026, at 10:30 AM. The brunch will be held in the Idaho State University Pond Student Union Wood River Room.

Guest Speaker: Stephen Weeg

Adults: $25
Youth: $15 (14 and under)

Stephen Weeg is former executive director of Health West who retired in 2012 after serving 40 years in the health and human services industry. He has been a board member of both the Portneuf Health Care Foundation and the Idaho Department of Health and Welfare.

At this year's event, the Pocatello NAACP will be raffling off a tote bag of books from the King Center, based in Atlanta, Georgia. Raffle Tickets are $5.
