WITH FOOD, MUSIC, RAFFLE, AND MORE!

WHO: The Pocatello Branch of the NAACP invites the public to join us for the 6th annual Juneteenth federal holiday celebration and major fundraiser that is becoming a fixture on the Southeast Idaho summer calendar.

WHAT: Juneteenth (June 19, 1865) celebrates the date slavery effectively ended in the United States. Juneteenth was recognized as a federal holiday on June 17, 2021, when President Joe Biden signed the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act into law.

Activities include a barbecue picnic with traditional foods, desserts, information booths, a raffle, and the awarding of the NAACP Scholarship winners. Music will once again be provided by the fantastic Glynn Osborne! Special musical guest will be Lenet Neifert, singing "You Knew," a song she co-wrote in honor of Juneteenth.

WHEN: Saturday, June 20, 2026, 11 A.M. to 3 P.M.

WHERE: The Pocatello Senior Activity Center, 427 N. Sixth Avenue.

MEAL TICKETS (SUGGESTED DONATIONS):
Adults: $25 donation
Children ages 3-12: $15 donation
Children 3 and under free

Tickets available at the following locations:
Bru Haus Galilei - 520 N. Main St.
College Market - 604 S. 8th Ave.
Joy Juice - 624 E. Benton
Tickets will also be available at the Pocatello NAACP booth at the Farmers Market on May 30th and June 13th. To facilitate easier and quicker entry, we strongly encourage getting tickets ahead of time, but some tickets will be available at the event. PLEASE NOTE: YOU ONLY NEED A TICKET IF YOU PLAN ON EATING. IF YOU DON'T PLAN ON EATING, THEN YOU DON'T NEED A TICKET. EVERYONE (EATING OR NOT) IS WELCOME TO ATTEND, PARTICIPATE IN THE RAFFLE, VISIT A BOOTH, ENJOY SOME MUSIC, SOCIALIZE, AND HAVE A GREAT TIME.
