- **Event Description**: A high energy pairs fitness competition where teams of two tackle functional workouts and race the clock to climb the leaderboard.About this EventPLEASE READ THE FULL DESCRIPTION CAREFULLYAterium Doubles is a high energy pairs fitness competition designed to test strength, endurance and teamwork. Teams of two will compete through a series of demanding functional workouts in a fast paced and competitive environment.Athletes will move through a combination of running, rowing, sled pushes, wall balls, burpees and weighted movements, working together to complete each section of the course as efficiently as possible. Every team will be timed from start to finish, with the fastest performances climbing the leaderboard.Each heat see 4 teams competing at the same time, creating an exciting head to head atmosphere on the arena floor.The event will be hosted at Bodyworld Gym in Plymouth, bringing together members of the local fitness community for a day of competition, energy and teamwork.Please see the attached video for parking guidelines, and another attached video showing the full workout ahead of the event.Important Information• Teams consist of two athletes per entry• Categories are Male Male, Female Female, and Male Female• Please note that in the Male Female category, the female athlete will complete the movements using the male weights as listed below• Every team will be timed and placed on the event leaderboard• Please arrive at least 30 minutes before your scheduled heat to sign in and attend the mandatory briefing• The briefing will explain movement standards, rules and safety guidelines• Any athlete arriving later than 15 minutes before their scheduled heat will not be permitted to compete• No refunds will be issued for late arrivals, All ticket purchases for Aterium Doubles are non refundable•The details of your pair entered during registration on Eventbrite can be amended up until the day before the event• Please allow enough time for parking, check in and warm upSpectatorsSupporters are welcome to attend. The viewing area will be outside at the rear of the gym where the start and finish of the event will take place.
