The arrival of 'Boney' quickly became a sensation, with huge crowds converging on Plymouth in the hope of catching a glimpse of the most famous (or infamous) man in Europe. The crowds and their surprisingly sympathetic response to Napoleon caused much concern to the authorities, who hastened to remove him to exile on St.Helena. The talk also includes some background to Napoleon's flight and surrender, the varying perceptions and portrayals of the man, the tense decision-making about his fate, and also a brief review of the history of the much-travelled veteran ship HMS Bellerophon. - **Event URL**: https://allevents.in/plymouth/ten-amazing-days-napoleons-visit-to-plymouth-sound-as-a-prisoner-on-boar/100001715366570589 - **Event Categories**: - **Interested Audience**: - total_interested_count: 0 ## Ticket Details - **Ticket Price Range**: min: 0, max: 6, currency: GBP ## Event venue details - **city**: Plymouth - **state**: EN - **country**: United Kingdom - **location**: The Levinsky Theatre - **lat**: 50.3740393 - **long**: -4.1387591 - **full address**: The Levinsky Theatre, University of Plymouth, Plymouth, United Kingdom ## Event gallery - **Alt text**: Ten Amazing Days - Napoleon's visit to Plymouth Sound as a prisoner on boar - **Image URL**: https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events7/banners/35afb41ab2a5cd9b2d36a73b0cd37b309de2e6881ed607c7c060e865ca3e50ee-rimg-w487-h329-dcaaa47a-gmir.jpg?v=1759222981 ## FAQs - **Q**: When and where is Ten Amazing Days - Napoleon's visit to Plymouth Sound as a prisoner on boar being held? - **A:** Ten Amazing Days - Napoleon's visit to Plymouth Sound as a prisoner on boar takes place on Tue, 25 Nov, 2025 at 07:00 pm to Tue, 25 Nov, 2025 at 08:30 pm at The Levinsky Theatre, University of Plymouth, Plymouth, United Kingdom. - **Q**: Who is organizing Ten Amazing Days - Napoleon's visit to Plymouth Sound as a prisoner on boar? - **A:** Ten Amazing Days - Napoleon's visit to Plymouth Sound as a prisoner on boar is organized by Plymouth Historical Association. ## Structured Data (JSON-LD) ```json [ { "@context": "https://schema.org", "@type": "Event", "name": "Ten Amazing Days - Napoleon's visit to Plymouth Sound as a prisoner on boar", "image": "https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events7/banners/35afb41ab2a5cd9b2d36a73b0cd37b309de2e6881ed607c7c060e865ca3e50ee-rimg-w487-h329-dcaaa47a-gmir.jpg?v=1759222981", "startDate": "2025-11-25", "endDate": "2025-11-25", "url": "https://allevents.in/plymouth/ten-amazing-days-napoleons-visit-to-plymouth-sound-as-a-prisoner-on-boar/100001715366570589", "location": { "@type": "Place", "name": "The Levinsky Theatre", "address": { "@type": "PostalAddress", "streetAddress": "University of Plymouth", "postalCode": "PL4 8AA", "addressLocality": "Plymouth", "addressRegion": "EN", "addressCountry": "GB" }, "geo": { "@type": "GeoCoordinates", "latitude": "50.3740393", "longitude": "-4.1387591" } }, "eventAttendanceMode": "https://schema.org/OfflineEventAttendanceMode", "description": "Clive Charlton describes the implications of Napoleon's historic visit to Plymouth Sound as a prisoner on board HMS Bellerophon!", "offers": [ { "@type": "AggregateOffer", "availability": "https://schema.org/InStock", "priceCurrency": "GBP", "availabilityStarts": "2026-10-10", "availabilityEnds": "2025-11-25", "validFrom": "2026-10-10", "lowPrice": "0.00", "highPrice": "6.00", "price": "0.00", "url": "https://allevents.in/plymouth/ten-amazing-days-napoleons-visit-to-plymouth-sound-as-a-prisoner-on-boar/100001715366570589" }, { "@type": "Offer", "availability": "https://schema.org/InStock", "priceCurrency": "GBP", "availabilityStarts": "2026-10-10", "availabilityEnds": "", "validFrom": "2026-10-10", "url": "https://allevents.in/plymouth/ten-amazing-days-napoleons-visit-to-plymouth-sound-as-a-prisoner-on-boar/100001715366570589", "price": 0, "name": "Historical Association Members" }, { "@type": "Offer", "availability": "https://schema.org/InStock", "priceCurrency": "GBP", "availabilityStarts": "2026-10-10", "availabilityEnds": "", "validFrom": "2026-10-10", "url": "https://allevents.in/plymouth/ten-amazing-days-napoleons-visit-to-plymouth-sound-as-a-prisoner-on-boar/100001715366570589", "price": 0, "name": "Plymouth University Students & High School Pupils" }, { "@type": "Offer", "availability": "https://schema.org/InStock", "priceCurrency": "GBP", "availabilityStarts": "2026-10-10", "availabilityEnds": "", "validFrom": "2026-10-10", "url": "https://allevents.in/plymouth/ten-amazing-days-napoleons-visit-to-plymouth-sound-as-a-prisoner-on-boar/100001715366570589", "price": "4.00", "name": "Other Concessions" }, { "@type": "Offer", "availability": "https://schema.org/InStock", "priceCurrency": "GBP", "availabilityStarts": "2026-10-10", "availabilityEnds": "", "validFrom": "2026-10-10", "url": "https://allevents.in/plymouth/ten-amazing-days-napoleons-visit-to-plymouth-sound-as-a-prisoner-on-boar/100001715366570589", "price": "6.00", "name": "General Public" } ], "organizer": [ { "@type": "Organization", "name": "Plymouth Historical Association", "url": "https://allevents.in/org/plymouth-historical-association/26623472" } ] } ] ```
