In 2025 we had over 2,000 adoptions and over one million in vetting expenses and we anticipate 2026 numbers to be even higher. Every step you take at Strut For Mutts helps us provide medical care, shelter, and loving homes for animals in need. As we look ahead, we anticipate the remainder of 2026 to be our biggest and most impactful year yet - with more animals saved, more fosters recruited, and more lives changed.
Bring your furry companions**, your walking shoes, and your heart for rescue. Whether you're walking in memory of a beloved pet or celebrating your own adopted companion, your participation fuels hope, healing, and a future full of wagging tails.

**Dogs that are not aggressive toward people or other animals are welcomed on the almost 3K event. Dogs must be current on vaccines and always leashed (retractable leashes are prohibited)

Fundraising for Rescue Network:

After registering, a fundraiser is automatically set up. The goal is $200 but you can adjust to whatever you would like! *You will be required to select "I agree to meet the Fundraiser minimum" however, there is no penalty if you do not!*

*Raise $200: Race fee refunded
*Raise $300: Race fee refunded and free item from our merch stand (Shirts, bags, stickers, Shasta Stuffie, & more!)
*Raise $400: Race fee refunded and free item from our merch stand (Shirts, bags, stickers, Shasta Stuffie, & more!), and name a future dog or cat
*Raise $500 or more: Race fee refunded and free item from our merch stand (Shirts, bags, stickers, Shasta Stuffie, & more!), and name a future litter of puppies or kittens
