This event is open to anyone who has lost someone and would like to opportunity to come together with other bereaved people to celebrate their life and take time to remember them in a safe, supportive community space.

Through shared stories, music, poetry, and a collective act of remembrance, creating the space for connection, reflection, and healing. As a symbol of Togetherness, Smeaton's Tower will be lit up in yellow, casting a warm glow across Plymouth’s waterfront.

Whether or not you have a connection to Marie Curie, you’re very welcome. Refreshments will be provided, and there’s no need to book, just come along. Connect with others who are bereaved, or simply sit quietly and listen—whatever feels right for you.

Marie Curie provides end of life care across Devon through our Hospice Care at Home service. In Plymouth we work in partnership with University Hospitals Plymouth, to provide end of life care and support in the Emergency Department, across Derriford Hospital and within 12 dedicated beds at Mount Gould. We support five GP surgeries in Estover through our partnership with Sound Primary Care Network, providing extra support to people with life-limiting illnesses or significant health decline. We also offer emotional and practical support through our Support Line, including bereavement services over the phone, online communities, and free resources.
