It is not a competency-based training day because Verrucae Needling is not considered to be extended scope of practice.The Royal College of Podiatry have confirmed that members who attend this course, will be covered by their indemnity insurance to perform this procedure.Current podiatry students and new graduates can attend.Pre-reading documents, copies of the presentations and videos will be sent (via Google Drive), one week before the event.Certificates of attendance will be issued after the event.Programme Outline:· VPs – Aetiology and manifestation of HPV associated warts/verrucae· Verrucae management and the evidence base· Local anaesthesia (Update) – anatomy, theory, techniques, demo and videos· Verrucae Needling – theory and videosTime: 9:00am – 4:00pm (ish)Venue: Crowne Plaza, Plymouth HoeIncludes lunch and refreshments (dad jokes are free).
