Cozy Winter Gathering: balm workshop & potluck

Come make a soothing balm to take extra care this winter, and bring a dish for a potluck afterwards!

About this Event

For this special winter session, we wanted to take time to gather, learn how to make two soothing balms, and offer tasty food and gratitude to each other. PLEASE LET US KNOW if you have any allergies in advance.

5-6:30pm: Join us for a cozy workshop led by Sue Johns on making rescued beeswax balms: one healing (with foraged daisy and locally grown comfrey) and one warming midwinter balm. Please make a donation to costs (sliding scale £5-10) in the ticketing section.

6:30-8:30pm: Come potluck with us! Bring a dish (made or bought) that you feel brings an extra bit of cozy when shared. We'll provide warming beverages, chats and liberal lashings of our famous plummy brown sauce.

Come just for the workshop, or just for the potluck, or to both!

If you need a jam, sauce or chutney (or chopped frozen pumpkin) as part of your recipe, please stop by and pick up a jar that will make your dish *chefkiss* - with our complements!

Share rituals for GRATITUDE & APPRECIATION: Tell us what you've appreciated over this year, and what you are hoping to build in the new year. Maybe you have a tarot deck and you'd like to pull a few cards? Or a ritual you'd like to share for setting sweet & gentle goals for the new year? We'll have a mini appreciation activity if you'd like to join us (very heartwarming for the dark days ahead).
