'Exquisite Corpse' Mural Community Paint Day

While an 'Exquisite Corpse" does sound quite morbid it's actually a drawing game!

Come be apart of the makerspace mural making process. Draw/Paint a character - well 1/3 of a character. The Exquisite Corpse process is a collaborative Surrealist art game where each person adds to a piece without seeing the previous contributions, resulting in a surprising, collective work.

Pick from a head, tummy, or legs and make it funky! Pre-cut sections will be primed and painted ready for you to art maker or paint your outline white section!

Our community's Exquisite Corpses will be worked into a wallpapered mural that is going up on the mezzanine that will have studio rules and more - along with this expert from the poem, "Ode" by Arthur O'Shaughnessy. And of course; the background for the 2026 makerspace mural will be International Klein Blue with white line drawings of our Exquisite Corpses!

From 11am-8am all day Thursday - come pick a body section and make it funky!
