Grief lives in the body, not just the mind. Sometimes talking isn’t enough. Sometimes we need another way to work through our feelings.

Art Your Grief is a gentle, monthly workshop that uses simple creative practices as a way to explore grief, loss, and everything we carry that doesn’t always have words. No art experience required. Truly. You do not need to be an artist. I’m not.

February’s practice focuses on Grief Mapping, where we explore the inner geography of loss. The places we avoid. The places we return to. The places we are still learning how to navigate.

✨ You are welcome to:

Participate fully in the art process

Sit out of the art and join the conversation

Observe quietly and simply be present

There is no pressure to share. There is no expectation to create something “good.” This isn't about whether you have talent or not. It’s about honesty, presence, and finding new ways to meet our grief.

⚠️ Accessibility Note:
This event is not wheelchair accessible. The mezzanine is only accessible by stairs, and there is no elevator.

All materials are provided unless otherwise noted.

Donations are accepted to help offset costs, but they are absolutely not required. Your presence matters so much more than your wallet.

This is just one more modality, one more door, and one more way to tend what hurts, without trying to fix it.
