Dragi prieteni,

Revenim în Dealu Mare — și de data aceasta, o facem în cea mai frumoasă perioadă a anului.
La început de mai, vita de vie e în plin elan: lăstarii cresc, aerul miroase a floare albă, și dealurile din Prahova capătă o culoare verde care nu se mai vede în niciun alt anotimp. Este, fără exagerare, momentul în care podgoria Dealu Mare arată cel mai bine.
Și noi vom fi acolo, pe bicicletă. 🚲🍷
Sâmbătă, 16 mai, vă invităm alături de noi pe cel mai frumos traseu colinar de circa 20 km din zonă — pe drumuri fara trafic, printre vii, cu priveliști care îți taie respirația spre Tohani și împrejurimi.

Punctul central al zilei: o vizită la Crama Mierla Albă, un proiect mic și autentic, construit în jurul pasiunii proprietarului și oenologului Daniel Dorneanu. Ne vom bucura de o degustare de vinuri premium, însoțită de brânzeturi și mezeluri — și, bineînțeles, de poveștile din spatele sticlelor.

Ne întâlnim la ora 10:30, la Gura Vadului — la 1 oră și 15 minute de București.

We're heading back to Dealu Mare — and this time, we've picked the best possible moment to do it.

Early May is when the vineyards come alive. The vines are in bloom, the air carries the scent of white blossom, and the rolling hills of Prahova wear a shade of green that simply doesn't exist in any other season. If you've ever wondered what wine country looks like before the grapes even form — this is it.
And we'll be cycling right through the middle of it. 🚲🍷

Saturday, May 16th — join us for one of the most scenic cycling routes in the entire Dealu Mare wine region: roughly 20 km through quiet back roads, winding between vineyards, with sweeping views toward Tohani and beyond.

The highlight of the day is a visit to Mierla Albă, a small, soulful winery shaped entirely by the vision of its owner and winemaker, Daniel Dorneanu. We'll enjoy a premium tasting paired with local cheeses and cold cuts, along with the stories that only a winemaker can tell. We'll also make a short stop at another cellar along the route — because in Dealu Mare, there's always one more reason to slow down.
We meet at 10:30 am at Gura Vadului, just 1 hour 15 minutes from Bucharest.
