Unity Hoops 2026

Unity Hoops is Te Kauwhata's annual street basketball event, held in partnership with Toi Ako Te Kauwhata, New Zealous Music and Kainga Ora.
The event is free for people of all ages. Come along and enjoy an afternoon of basketball inspired fun - sausage sizzle, music, art station, games (3 on 3, trick shot, king of the court etc) and heaps of prizes. This year we are trialing both a new time and location. Avoiding the heat of the day we will be running this on a chill Friday evening. We are excited to use the new Lakeside half court at the fabulous new playground.
