This Saturday, December 20,  we will meet on 3rd Avenue north of 96th Street (see map in comments). We will be continuing the tree removal work started last January. The trees that were basal bark treated then are now dead. On Saturday we will cut and stack them and, if weather permits, burn the brush piles.  

The prediction is for cloudy with a high of 40 degrees. Winds are expected to be SW at 10 to 20 mph. Wear old clothes, sturdy shoes or boots, hats and gloves. We supply tools, water, instructions, and answers to all your questions about the Prairie.
 
This workday is from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM CT. Come for part or all of it.
 
PLEASE: Arrive 10 minutes early to sign-in
 
We will meet along 3rd Avenue, approximately 250 feet southeast of 93rd Street (0.2 miles north of 96th Street).
