Step behind the gleaming Chrome Counter of our speakeasy for a 2.5‑hour journey into the art of holiday mixology. This interactive class blends craft, creativity, and just the right touch of seasonal whimsy—where cocktails become potions and garnishes sparkle like charms.

What You’ll Experience:

• Potion Making 101: whisk up homemade eggnog and learn the secrets of smoked cocktails, transforming each into festive creations.
• Alchemy in action: master classic bartending techniques while discovering how to stir, shake, and garnish with holiday flair.
• Two spirited cocktails: craft and enjoy two drinks of your own making.
• Light charcuterie and crusty focaccia, fresh from The Black Smock ovens, to complement your creations.


Your Instructor:
Guiding the evening is Chef McCoy, creator and co‑owner of The Speakeasy & Black Smock Parlor & Eatery alongside her husband Jeff. Known for blending food, art, and storytelling, she brings a philosophy of no gatekeeping—sharing industry secrets freely so every guest leaves with insider knowledge, confidence, and inspiration!

Refund & Credit Policy

To keep this experience personal and hands‑on, class size is limited to a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 11 guests. Because each seat is reserved exclusively for you:

• Class credit is available up to 5 days prior to the event.
• No refunds or credits will be issued within 5 days of the class.


With such an intimate group and a ticket price of $70, every reservation matters. This policy ensures we can plan ingredients, staffing, and seating with care. By offering credits up to a week in advance, we balance flexibility for our guests with the sustainability of keeping these special classes available.
