MAIN EVENT: Driftless Anthology reading

We are also planning two fun mini-events the same day, weaving in more opportunities for community and connection. No RSVP is needed for these two mini-events, but you are absolutely welcome to join in!
PRE-EVENT: Write Here, Together
Hosted by: Platteville Writing Group
What: Join for writing prompts and writing sprints centered around Driftless themes (community, belonging, the curve of hills, the feel of home, and more). Everyone is welcome, from seasoned writers to occasional scribblers.

Time: 2 - 3 pm (+ social half hour to follow)

POST-EVENT: Talk & Toast at 1906
What: A walk down to 2nd street for drinks, snacks, and socialization. Drinks are pay your own way, but the good conversation is free!

Time: ~6 pm - 7:30pm
Where: 1906 (35 N Second St, Platteville, WI 53818).
1906 is a beautifully restored bar rooted in local history. It has seen the days of prohibition and has continuously had the doors open longer than any bar in Southwest Wisconsin. And they have good drinks!
